Michael Larkin is awarded of Outstanding Figure of 2011

In the Chinese New Year 4710, the year of Dragon, Tai Chi Fitness Australia presented Michael Larkin with first prize as the outstanding Tai Chi figure for 2011.
Michael is a director of an electronic company shared his experience with audients: “As the owner of a company I found stress to be a problem, and Tai Chi with its relaxation techniques that focus on the physical and mental side of relaxation helped me in becoming less stressed. Tai Chi strong emphasis on correct posture and helped me with my back pain. I found myself not need to visit the chiropractor. I also learned how Tai Chi can change a person to be honesty, integrity and be truthful. Since that I know, we must be able helping other people it should be without criticism and always with positive encouragement. At the same time you are modest in your attitude. I completed the Tai Chi instructor course successfully. I now enjoy teaching Tai Chi and I encourage all to become part of community to teach and help other people for the life time benefit of practicing of Tai Chi.”
Sue Chang – the director of TCFA, encourages people to practice Tai Chi and Qigong in everyday living. It is a life style to prevent future diseases, by minimising the likelihood of contracting chronic disease. Most of the people who come to Tai Chi or Qigong are referred by Doctors. They come suffering problems like stiff shoulders, backache, poor sleep patterns, headaches and digestive problems and with differing degrees of anxiety, or depression. Most of the problems are caused by stress or incorrect posture.
Wouldn’t it be beneficial to spend a little bit of time to look after yourself each day by creating balance in your life and avoiding problems?
